What to expect.

Thank you for your interest in singing with us! Cantabile Chamber Choir is the only auditioned choir in the valley, and our standards are high. For your audition, you will be asked to:

1. Sight read approximately 8 measures of a simple exercise.

2. Vocally reproduce intervals played on the piano.

3. Work through a few warm-up exercises at the piano with our Artistic Director.

4. Perform your audition song, with or without sheet music. You may be asked to sing your audition song a capella.

5. Also, you will be asked to agree to the information in the Cantabile handbook in order to understand the responsibilities of each member. (You will be sent this handbook prior to your audition) In order for us to maintain our goal of excellence in choral music-making, membership in Cantabile requires a firm commitment by each member.
